THE FACES OF CLIMATE CHANGE SCRIPTS

We suggest these scripts that will combine into a consistent message. Feel free to be creative. Questions with an * are required.

Personal Sustainable Action

* State Directly into the camera: “I am the Face of Climate Change.”
State your age: “I am __ years old.”
* State where you live or are from: “I’m from ___________ (Town/City/State)”
What is your political party affiliation? “I consider myself a _________“ ( Republican, Democrat, Independent, etc).
What is your occupation/profession? “I am a student, mother, attorney, etc.”
* State: “I trust the science behind climate change.”
* State: “I’m concerned about climate change and I’m doing something about it.” or “I am concerned about climate change and I am taking sustainable action.”
* State in your video one thing you are doing to support climate change mitigation.
* Restate directly into the camera: “I am the Face of Climate Change.”

Climate Legislation Action

* State Directly into the camera: “I am the Face of Climate Change.”
State your age: “I am __ years old.”
* State where you live or are from: “I’m from ___________ (Town/City/State)”

* Ask your state representatives to support climate change legislation. Articulate one or all of these ideas below:
- “I want (Your state) to implement a State-wide Climate Action Plan”.
- “I want (your state) to implement a State-wide Climate Action Plan”.
- “I want (Your State) to consider passing a Cap-and-Invest bill that puts a price on carbon emissions and helps transition our state away from Fossil Fuels”.
* Restate directly into the camera: “I am the Face of Climate Change.”

To add a video to this website simply record yourself using the script suggestions above and email the video to us. This agreement is to give permission to Kate L. Gaertner (a.k.a. Owner) and TripleWin Advisory LLC (a.k.a. Company) to use content created by you. By placing your signature and date on this Content Use Agreement, you are giving your permission for Kate L. Gaertner and TripleWin Advisory LLC to use your image, video, audio or other content generated through personal interviews conducted or video created by Company or Individual. You grant Kate L. Gaertner and TripleWin Advisory LLC a non-exclusive and non-revocable commercial right to reproduce interview content in any form (including, but not limited to, video, internet posting, reproduction, display, email, publication, and distribution), through our own services or services provided by third parties, throughout the world in any medium now known or later developed and without restriction or limitation. You agree that your interview content may be used by Kate L. Gaertner and TripleWin Advisory LLC either alone or in conjunction with sketches, cartoons, captions, films, art work, textual matter or other photographs. While Kate L. Gaertner and TripleWin Advisory LLC will make commercially reasonable efforts to reference you in context with your interview content, you agree that such credit is not mandatory and your permission for us to use your content is not contingent upon such credit being given. You waive any right to inspect and/or approve the finished work incorporating the content or the advertising copy that may be used in connection therewith or the use of which said finished work may be applied. Further, you waive any claims to royalties with regards to your content or our finished work. Last, you agree that if any provision, or any portion of any provision, contained herein is determined to be invalid under any statute or rule of law, then it shall, to that extent alone, be deemed omitted, and the remainder of this Content Use Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. This Content Use Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Oregon. By submitting a video to faces@theiinclimatechange.com, you confirm your approval of this Faces of Climate Change Content User Agreement.
